The role of Instagram Reels in developing a distinctive marketing plan
Instagram Reels is a new way to build your company’s brand and expand the reach of your audience on Instagram, it’s a fun and engaging way to share viral and creative snippets with your audience.
It is true that Instagram Reels is still in its early stages, but it provides brands and creators alike with wide fame through it, as it is an effective way for Instagram marketing in particular and e-marketing in general.
Instagram Stories was first launched in 2016 when many said it was a copy of Snapchat and it wouldn’t work!
Surprisingly, Instagram Stories surpassed Snapchat in the number of daily users and became an effective channel for brands to build a good relationship with their audience.
In addition, brands should seize the opportunity to be the first Instagram Reels creator or at least one of the first in their field, engaging a new type of audience and people who prefer fast and easy content.
Plus, brands can team up with new creative talent to try out the Reels content they create at low prices!
And one more thing: the presence of Reels on the Explore page – a place used by more than 50% of Instagram accounts per month – If your Reel is displayed on this page, it means that you have a great opportunity to showcase your brand to new followers.
So Instagram Reels is a new digital marketing tool in your hands.

How to use Instagram Reels to create a successful marketing plan:
With Reels, you can record and edit 15-30 second multi-track videos with new audio, effects, and creative tools. Reels allow people to express themselves, or companies to offer new products or share with the public their use of certain products.
1- Select Reels at the bottom of the Instagram camera. You’ll see a variety of creative editing tools on the left side of your screen that you can use to create the ribbon, including:
2- Audio: Find a song from the Instagram music library for your reel. People and businesses can also use their original audio simply by recording it. When you share an audio clip with the original, the audio will be attributed to you, and if you have a public account, people can create reels with your voice by selecting Use audio from your file.
3- AR Effects: Select one of the many effects in our effects gallery, created by Instagram and creators around the world, to record multiple clips with different effects.
4- Timer and Countdown: Set the timer to record any of your clips hands-free. Once you hit Record, you will see a 3-2-1 countdown.
5- Align: Align items from your previous clip before recording your next clip, which helps create smooth transitions for moments like changing an outfit.
6- Speed: Choose to speed up or slow down a portion of the video or audio you selected.
Reels can be recorded in a series of clips (one by one), in batch, or using video uploads from your gallery. Record the first clip by pressing and holding the capture button. You will see a progress indicator at the top of the screen while recording. Stop recording to finish each clip.

If your account is public, you can share your Reels in the dedicated Reels tab, where they have a chance to be seen and discovered by the wider Instagram community. You can also share your Reel with your followers by posting it to your feed. When you share Reels that contain specific audio, hashtags, or effects, the Reel may also appear on dedicated pages when someone clicks on that audio, hashtag, or effect. After you share your Reels, it will live in a separate Reels tab on your profile, where people can find the Reels you’ve shared. If you also share it on your Page, the Reel will appear in your main profile network. Whether you have a public or private account, you can share your clip with your story. If you choose to do so, it will appear as a normal story – it will not be shared in the Reels tab, it will not appear on your profile, and it will disappear after 24 hours.
